300 MW Kakhovka HPP commissioned in 1956 is the last stage of the cascade of hydropower plants on the River Dnieper. At present the design works to increase the capacity by 270 MW through the construction of additional powerhouse on the basis of the existing hydro scheme are provided.

HYDROTECHPROJECT Ltd. accomplished the following works for Kakhovka HPP-2:

  • Spillway dam stability calculations for the period of construction of Kakhovka HPP-2, 2013
  • Development of several parts of the feasibility study over Kakhovka HPP-2 construction, 2014-2015
  • Development of the design works over the temporary removal with further retracement of linear power structures within feasibility study over Kakhovka HPP-2 construction, 2015-2016
