Bilotserkovka HPP on the Ros River

The Ros River is a source of industrial and domestic water supply to Bila Tserkva town and other settlements. As the result of low river flows and depths and to provide reliable water supply and normal operation of the pumping stations in the 70s there were constructed the lower run-of-river dam (in 1971) and the upper reservoir hydro scheme (in 1979).

At present there are plans to build a small HPP downstream to the existing Bilotserkovka (upper) reservoir, which will use the upstream overflows for power generation. Regarding this, HYDROTECHPROJECT Ltd. accomplished the following design works for Bilotserkovka HPP:
